Auntie Rae Rae spent the morning with us at the house while you napped
Then we buzzed over to Georgetown for salads from SweetGreen
and ate in the park under wisteria
You picked food and walked around chewing it, always coming back for more
We stood in line with the masses for froyo at SweetGreen
& of course...Georgetown Cupcakes!
Rae Rae and I, both choose Lemon Blossom cupcakes
because we seem to have the same taste in just about everything!
Even you got a bite!
Then we spent the afternoon walking in Dumbarton Oaks
You took to Auntie Rae instantly and asked her to hold you all day long!
A great match: An Auntie who likes to snuggle and a cuddlebun tot
Dumbarton Oaks was fascinatingly gorgeous!
Peak wisteria season!!
I could lay the day away under this canopy
You alternate between walking on your own, holding hands, and crawling
The peonies are just about to bloom!
Mommy's love affair with arches, window boxes, lanterns, and gardens
was wonderously plucked
This room had the most intoxicating gardenia's in bloom!!
Repeated line of the day, "someone actually lived like this?!?!!"

A great girls (& lad) day while Daddy's was out of town
