Oh the Wonderful Things Mr. One Year Old Can Do!

You assert you opinion now with the cutest, "yea" or (lip pucker) "ummnoo." You choose which food, books, and any other options with one of these two answers. Sometimes your yes sounds like, (huge eyes, hands waving) "YEEEEEEAAA!" Your "no," is always quiet, short, one word, with the most emphasis on your pout. It is sooo cute, it sometimes makes me laugh really (really) loud, which makes you do it over and over again to keep Mommy laughing. You have always loved to make me laugh. You also started tickling my feet and underarms to make me laugh. Such a little joker!

You like to walk as well as being carried now and daily walk over two blocks past our house! You like to push your walker for added workout and stop and point along the way at the birds, trees, wind, airplanes, people, and dogs. You wave to birds, pet dogs, and say hi to people. You ask to outside several times a day walking to the door and grabbing your outside toys (walker, watering can, and garden tools). You dig into Mommy's plants, help water, and smell all the flowers.

Daddy got you started pointing the buttons at the cashiers line in the grocery store. You smile so wide when the button makes the noise at your contribution. You started doing all of these fun things in your twelfth month and they are apart of your routine now.

You are quite the animal genius! I ask you, "where's a duck?" and you point to them in your books, say their names, and are so loving to the animals you meet. I still haven't gotten you a color book, shape book, or number book, I think it's time!

You're still nuts for ride-ons and take rocket, panda, and ladybug on regular spins. You quicken Mommy's heart with your running attempts and constant c-l-I-M-B-ing. You can do so many things and Mommy has to remember you're not a little baby anymore.
