Our Grace: The sign of the Covenant

If you look closely to this picture, you will see our sign of hope rising like a colorful bridge.

To begin this story, I have to start in the middle on the day the rainbow appeared after days of-what I was told since I was on the interior walls of a hospital-were skies heavy laden with rain and a cloudy sheath of gray.

Finally, the light came back out and a rainbow shone through the clouds on the very day we praised God to both be alive!  Our truth remembered, felt, and experienced as we lived the hope promised to us.  No, despair and death did not have its way with us!  We made it through!  We lived!  Your Daddy says you and I will always have a special connection because we tottered with life and by The Grace lived.

You are our sweet, special, miracle boy!

Through out the birthing process there were two verses that circulated inside my head.  They were my mantra through the 6+ hours of active pushing.

"Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life"
Psalm 23:6

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
Philippians 4:13

Thank you for your mercy, providence, and love Lord.  You are all there is!

Kirsten, you are amazing. God has truely put an annointing on your life. Reading your posts have been an encouragement to my spirit! I can't imagine what you have gone through (I really don't know!) but God has been so faithful to his servant! I long to hear actual words from your mouth, I miss that! Love Natalie Mulder
