Due Date Celebration Day!

So, maybe it isn't something but I went to bed telling Bobby I felt like we accomplished something. We made it successfully together for 40 weeks!  After hearing stories of friends and acquaintances having pregnancy complications, birthing complications, and knowing all too well the realities in the NICU from Bobby, I feel so thankful that we have been able to be so healthy these past 40 weeks.

We spent the day finishing baby crafts with Nana (Dad did our taxes), going for a hike at Great Falls with Hero, having dinner with Uncle Ryan, Nana, and Daddy, and having delicious strawberry cream cake (& chocolate cupcakes-because I wanted both!) ;), and playing games.

We got several calls and messages from loved ones wondering if you were here yet.  Your Papa said, "I can't take it anymore!  I have to know!  Is the baby here?"  It was really cute.  We are all
looking forward to your arrival.  I had a hard time sleeping because I kept waking up excited, anxious, and nervous about your arrival.  Your dad helped me fall back asleep with a meditation at about 3am.  We ended up waking up early and having french toast & strawberries with Nana.  I have to fight the mind games so please bear with my emotions as I must trust that God's hand is over your life and you will reveal yourself at the perfect moment.  I pray for God's grace pouring over you like spring rain.  I love you my sweet.  Stay safe and content.  Until we meet I sing to you and your angels.
