Easter

Easter. Shadden awoke first scrambling up and talking to himself checking to see if a bunny had come. This year, Shadden was like a well oiled machine springing into action. He knew the drill and ran around finding and opening. Kealana basked. Every egg was a surprise. Oh the delight! Your father knew the drill now too. He sprang to life with his video camera and ran about in his pajamas sharing the excitement feeding off the sing songy glees of appreciative children. The golden egg was the climax of the hunt. The last egg to be found. Shadden and Daddy walked about with a Easter meter checking ground pulses for vibrations until it was seized upon. We shared a family breakfast feast, dressed, and went to church. Shadden performed hand bells at church and sang. It was the highlight of our day seeing him worshipping. After naps, we shared a lovely vegan Easter dinner with the cousins in Sausalito. The kids ran about with the harbor in the background laughing together playing chase and doing frozen reenactment shows. Our cup runneth over. To Thee we are so thankful!
