Sing it with me now...
"You can get it if you really want, but you must try, try, and try. You'll suceed at last!"
Thank you, Jimmy Cliff

Apple juice mustachios

the jig

All fun and games until Mommy says, you can't jump into the four foot bramble like your Daddy. But you can....jump off the other direction

You and your ice man eyes!

Which of course also means, "I want to climb trees!" You have been thrilled to climb the apples trees after you were forbidden to climb into your beloved cherry trees (your favorite summer fruit!) by one of the farms. Every week you ask to go pick apples!
We picked a bushel so everyday we eat an apple and make fresh apple juice. MMmmmm!!! It's the best! You tried a airport apple juice and told me, "nooo Mommy. old. not good. can't drink it," because it didn't taste like the fresh cider and apple juice we make. Little prince (just like your Dad!) whatever will we do with your Bourgeois preferences??!?!!!
Daddy fretted over Mommy driving two chillans in her little Nissan with giant suv's on the road, so we sold it and purchased a large family vehicle. Yikes! You were so sweet, "no sell Mommy car. Mommy be sad. I want to keep Mommy car and get big car." My little protector. Funny enough, since I had no emotion to metal cars it was Daddy who was actually sad when it was sold because it was the first car we purchased as a family. You've converted to liking the family mobile mostly on the fact that it has a DVD player. That doesn't mean you are content to sit by yourself back there! You still beg for Mommy to sit next to you every time we drive as a family or Mommy and Daddy try to talk. I hope you'll enjoy sharing the backseat with your baby sister!
I've been waiting half the summer for pumpkin pie so I'm so thankful pumpkins are finally ripe and baby girl and I can get our fix. The cooler temperatures have been wonderful for indoor baking parties and fall crafts. We've played with molasses cookies, peanut butter cookies, and pumpkin bread. You've requested cupcakes so those are next. You've been busy making apple trees, painting pods, and coloring leaves, bats, and deer. My favorite household items have become your handcrafted decorations. We do this all to the tunes of Sound of Music and your Music Together cd's. Oh! how I adore the sound of your voice. It just amazes me how many songs and books you can sing to me and read all by yourself. God is so incredible to design the human mind to process so much information. Seeing you grow is testament to the power of our Creator.
