Thoughts From Daddy....

To My Dear Prince or Princess,

My heart yearns to see your face. I keep picturing you in my mind. Every time I take care of one of my patients at work, I wish it were you I was caring for.

I can't wait to hold you, protect you, and love you. I can't wait to play with you outside, take you to the zoo, read to you at night. I can't wait to surprise you with special adventures and toys and cookies. I want the world for you, yet I haven't even looked into your eyes.

You don't realize it yet but you have the most incredible mommy in the world. I mean it, she's really special, and I'm gonna do everything in my power so that she's able to be with you every waking minute of your life. You're blessed to be swimming around inside something so peaceful, so faithful, and so full of love. She will teach you many things, but the most important virtue she represents is love. You will know what love is, and how to live in love. That I can promise you!

I will work with all my heart to be the best daddy to you. If you fall, I'll pick you up. If you cry, I'll squeeze you tight. If you call, I'll come running to you. I'll give you everything I am, and I will love you and mommy forever.
