"My first snake!"

May was a nice mellow month for us of soccer, home science projects, reading, and hiking.  On a hike at Point Reyes, Shadden spotted a snake across our path and watched it slowly slither to the other side.  Upon seeing it he excitedly said, "My first snake!!"  Had Kealana not been asleep in the ergo on Mama, she probably would have tried to grab it!
