The Grind

We returned home from Michigan mid-August and it took me a month before I finally downloaded Michigan pictures!  The camera had a nice vacation while we got back to home life schedule. We made library trips, cooked, baked, and of course finished August with frequent trips to the spray park and pirate ship pool. We soaked up the Virginia sun and accumulated bug bites to prove it. Can we get a neighborhood bat house peeeas pretty please? When we weren't chlorinating we were enjoying being home. Shadden was busy with imaginative play and doing "Mommy school" projects and games while Kealana was climbing stairs, standing up on everything, and getting into all the sweet baby crawling mischief.  We started music class in September...yea for mixed age sibling classes!  We are still waiting for the bugs to retreat, but have been celebrating the cooler September temps (finally!).   Poor Daddy and Duma have been hit by a landslide of ailments.  Shingles sent Daddy into disability and Dumie is still recovering from surgery and a week long hospital stay.  We've kept the family ship afloat but will all be happy once our Daddyo pirate is back in action.
