"When I Grow Up..."

To the RESCUE!!!
Since you've turned three, you've been sharing lots of "when I grow up" scenarios.  The first was, "when I grow up I'm going to be a cowboy."  Then Daddy and I heard, "Mommy, I'm not going to grow up.  I'm going to stay a boy forever like Peter Pan."  This was of course met with cheers from your Dad and I!  Your firefighter weakness led you back to, "when I grow up I'm going to be a fireman."  After our helicopter experience you've also added pilot of either a airplane or helicopter to the list!  It's a good thing there are several years spanning this decision or Mommy and Daddy would be seriously sad.  Oh!  To have a son!
Insert siren noises!
Telling me the scene...who needs help and why

Feeling it!

Sorry, small.
Have to wait for ladder runs until after fire school.
(Ladder trucks are your favorite so you were pretty psyched to be this close to the real deal)
And just like that, we're back on the scene...
You picked a green helicopter because "geen" is your favorite color
We hit the jackpot watching this badboy circle the sky and land.  We were examining it when it was called away on a mission.  You explored the back interior but were waiting for a seat in the pilot chair when they recieved the call.  You were about to cry but were taken over by the flight preparations and waved frantically thank you and bye bye to the helicopter and your new friends.  Transportation vehicles are useless on me, but seeing a helicopter through your eyes had me in awe as well.

Asking all your questions!
You asked about all the different parts, how they worked, and how they were made.
You repeated it all back to me in my arms before you fell asleep that night too!
Watching the helicopter depart
Waving, "bye, bye!" as the helicopter flew away
