My darling,
It officially is nice to be home. I am physically restored and no longer need full time care. I resigned from work. We have no upcoming travel plans (except to see Auntie Kendall in Charlottesville but that is in Virginia so it doesn't really count) and no scheduled visitors. You can breathe, "ahhhh, home sweet crib and play land home." It feels great! I can definitely feel the change in Hero and Duma. Sometimes I feel like Hero needs me as much as you do. He behaves so well when I am taking care of him and sometimes loses his manners when I am not.
Everyday we are our own community. Forget all the mommy groups! We have our own tree house club. Duma and Hero can go anywhere in the house but we are always positioned in a four foot radius or less. always. We got asked to another Mommy group today and I thought as I walked away, "that's nice, but not right now." I think I'm turning recluse! My inner monk is basking! Adults? Paaaaasss! (that word was pass) I'd rather stick to our gang. The path of least resistance. The easy life. Effortless energy. Because it feels so good right now.
I love our schedule. We have a schedule now?!?!! You wake maybe once in the night or sleep through. Everyone sleeps well when Daddy's home. You wake at 5am or 6am and I feed you and slip you back into bed for a little more sleeping in time rising at a delightful 7 or 8am. Ahhhh! I turn my nightie into a makeshift public outfit and we take Hero and Duma outside for a nice leisurely morning stroll. You are awake for 1.5 hours intervals when we play and nap for as long as you nap. You eat every 3 hours. We prepare for bath at 5:30 and you go down to sleep about 7pm.
You want to try everything Mommy eats. When I grab grapes or eat a nectarine you grab my hand and try to taste a sample too. You tried your first banana mixed with avocado and water. You really enjoy grabbing the spoon and trusting the food into your mouth. When I drink water you reach up for a sip and grab on with strong eager hands. You aren't eating a lot of solids because you're still a Mommy milk boy, just a few bites to satisfy your curiosity.
New things for the week?
-Child's pose! You just starting curling your legs and tipping your akole in the air while your in the crib burrowing in for nap.
-Bridge pose: flexing into a back arch while in the ergo
-Banana
-Sipping from Mommy's glass

I keep wanting to get a picture of you sitting up by yourself but haven't. I like to keep both hands prepped just in case so here is one of you strapped in your swing-swinging your swing by yourself and sitting up.
