Driving home from work all I could think about was biting into a slice of greasy cheese pizza! (Manhattan beach pizza style!) Hot and delicious! But why cheese?!?!! I kept thinking of what I would actually be able to eat when I got home but I could just taste the pizza in my mouth. I scanned every place I drove past knowing practically everything was closed since it was 1:30 at night. I pulled in surprised to see Bobby's car. I thought he was working overnight! So nice to come home to lights on and....groceries! I told him I wanted pizza so bad I could taste it! He replied, "great I'll heat it up for you its fresh just made today with organic ingredients." ughhhhh!!! Vegan turmoil sprouting in my head...ohh the temp
tation! real mozzarella! I caved and ate two slices with your Father convincing me it was okay because you wanted it and I would go back to being strict vegan when you were out. And, no I will not be making this a daily pregnancy habit but on extreme cravings I just might bend for a twitch of cheeeeeese, peeeeeas.

The next morning, I tried to fool you with hot chocolate, raisin flax granola cereal, Ezekiel bread, raspberries, japanese pears, and a clemintine. But still the taste of pizza would not cease! I devoured the other half of the pizza by the end of the night. When I felt bad Bobby said it was okay, he would buy another one for himself! (I was talking about eating cheese....opps!) I vow to not eat meat! I am stronger than this craving that every time I see a slice of a white turkey cutlet in gravy...so soft and tender...I want it on my plate! (Thankfully, I can fool you with Tofurky). ;) How odd, I have never been a giant turkey lover?!?!!
We hired a birth assistant, are meeting with pediatricians, and trying to sign up for a birthing class. My blood pressure is still really low so I still sometimes have that dizzy, light headed, nausea feeling but it is supposed to get better in the third trimester when the blood pressure levels go more back to normal. I'm so glad we've been so healthy through everything!

Good for you! I'm glad you're listening to your body's cravings. It's telling you what it needs for the baby!
